OUR PURPOSE
The Sleepy Hollow Neighborhood Association (SHNA) is a volunteer organization that is 100% dependent upon our neighbors' support and involvement. Our purpose is to:

Create a sense of community among neighbors

Improve, protect, preserve, and beautify Sleepy Hollow including but not limited to maintaining our distinctive street signs and the landscaping, irrigation, and lighting of the Sleepy Hollow gates

Promote crime deterrence and safety best practices and maintain our nationally recognized Firewise USA® certification
CREATE A SENSE OF COMMUNITY
The SHNA strives to build a strong community of neighbors who take pride in this special place we call home and look out for each other as people who care. We welcome newcomers to the neighborhood, hold social events, and keep everyone informed of important information relevant to our community.
BEAUTIFY OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
The primary use of your donations is the preservation and improvement of our neighborhood. We use funds raised to maintain our iconic street signs and stone entry gates, which includes irrigation, lighting, landscaping, and holiday decorating. Dependent upon donations, we also have plans for other beautification projects for the entry to Sleepy Hollow that will convey just how special our community is.
PROMOTE SAFETY
Of great importance to all of us is keeping Sleepy Hollow a safe place to live. The SHNA provides neighbors with best practices related to fire safety and has done a tremendous amount of work in conjunction with the MOFD to make Sleepy Hollow a Firewise USA® certified community. In addition, we have installed a security camera at the entry gates and continue to explore other ways to deter crime.
